Origins

It is in Spain that Logista begins its activity of distributing tobacco products to the network of tobacco retailers.

Following its merger with MIDESA in 1999, Logista integrated the distribution of books and publications into its activities in Spain and Portugal.

Organic growth and diversification in Spain and Portugal

Since its creation, Logista has combined a strategy of organic growth, through the constant expansion of its offering, and diversification into new specialized sectors.

Certain events have marked the history of the Group since its creation :

  • Creation of Logistadis, the “wholesaler” distribution subsidiary of local products
  • Integration of Transport Services through the acquisition of Nacex and Integra 2
  • Creation of Logista Freight, a subsidiary of the Group specializing in the management of long distance and full load transport
  • Creation of Logista Pharma, a subsidiary of the Group specializing in distribution for the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring total control and traceability of products

International expansion

In 2004, Logista expanded internationally with the acquisition of Etinera and the creation of Logista Italia, becoming the leading distributor of tobacco and convenience products in Southern Europe.

In 2007, Logista continued its growth in Poland, with the creation of Logista Polska.

In 2008, Imperial Brands acquired Logista, which then managed its logistics operations in France until October 2012, when it acquired 100% of the business and created Logista France (formerly ADF Group).

Logista today

Logista is today the undisputed leader in the distribution of products and services to local businesses in Europe.

Logista continues to strengthen its activities while expanding its portfolio of products and services, but also its presence in growing sectors, while maintaining excellent relationships with its customers and suppliers.
